Thetic
Overview
Our audio efforts, coordinated under the pseudonym Thetic, are a playful diversion from Synthome's film projects.
Musically, our aim is to strike an unpolished, absurdist chord. With little or no production work, and little or no talent, we focus on songwriting and colorful delivery. Hitting the right notes is just not in the cards.
We are currently assembling a few of our favorite tracks for public indigestion. The first EP being produced is called Your Lust.
Influences include Momus, Tricky, Jon Spencer, Jarvis Cocker, GWAR, Nat King Cole, Tom Waits, Sex Pistols, John Cage, Matmos, Napalm Death, Richard D. James, Leonard Cohen, Morrissey, Glenn Gould, Jim O'Rourke and several others.
Thetic is John Simone, Paul Falcone and Matthew Lotti.
